About Daw Yee Myanmar Corner

Daw Yee Myanmar Corner is a burmese restaurant in Los Angeles, California. It is listed at 2837 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026, which places it among the local businesses of Los Angeles that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Really interesting Burmese restaurant in the heart of Silver Lake. The cuisine we got spanned a range of flavors. Some was like Thai food while other dishes were more reminiscent of Chinese cuisine. Overall, it was a fun dining experience and if you order moderately you can definitely be away for under or around $20 per person.

Wonderfully prepared food with a flavor pallet that's incredibly different from most other places. The servers were very friendly and helpful in explaining the various dishes and ingredients. Lots of choices for vegans and vegetarians, and they were very accommodating in transforming even those dishes that weren't into something everyone could eat. The place had a very welcoming environment, and everyone seemed to be enjoying their time here. Highly recommend their fermented tea leaf salad, the different textures are amazing and so interesting! And their steak bowl was delicious as well. Would definitely recommend and come again!

Had a lovely meal from here. We chose to-go, because in a small place the noise level of the patrons was too loud for us, (but would not be for 99% of young Americans, I suppose). But, the staff was very very nice, the vibe friendly and unpretentious, and the food superb. The tea leaf salad, the parota served w/the very good curry, and the deserts were all excellent. We shall return, for sure.

Love this place. I had the Ohnoh noodles and the Faluda drink - both were delicious.
